Cookie policy

Effective as of: 1 September 2026

This policy describes how Kinema uses cookies and similar technologies (localStorage, pixels, SDKs) on kinemalab.ai and in the Kinema service. It forms part of the contractual framework under Article 1.2 of the Terms of Service.

1. What Cookies Are

Cookies are small files stored on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to remember you between visits, ensure the service functions properly and — with your consent — measure traffic and personalise content.

2. Legal Framework and Consent

2.1.

Cookies that are not strictly necessary for the operation of the Service are stored only with your prior consent (opt-in regime under Section 89(3) of Czech Act No. 127/2005 Coll., on Electronic Communications).

2.2.

Analytics and marketing cookies (Section 4) are stored only after you allow them in the cookie banner. Refusing is as easy as accepting, and you can change your choice at any time via “Cookie settings” in the footer of every page.

2.3.

Refusing non-essential cookies does not limit the core functionality of the Service.

3. Strictly Necessary Cookies (No Consent Required)

These ensure the basic operation of the Service and cannot be switched off within the Service:

Without consent, Google Analytics receives only cookieless signals (Google Consent Mode) that do not identify your device. What you type into the video brief is never sent to analytics; only its length is measured.

Stripe, as the provider of payment cookies, may process data in accordance with its own privacy policy (available at stripe.com). Transfers of data outside the EU/EEA are governed by Section 6.5 of our Privacy Policy.

5. Managing Cookies

You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may limit the functionality of the Service, in particular signing in and payments.

6. Changes

We update this policy and the table above whenever the technologies actually deployed change. Any new analytics or marketing technology is activated only with your prior consent and is added to this policy first.
